What we collect
Zync processes Discord user IDs, usernames, server/channel IDs, roles, and information needed for enabled features. It records member message counts, active days, last activity, and server join dates—even when you aren’t directly talking to Zync.
Depending on the features used, Zync also saves ticket details and summaries, application answers (including the age you provide), giveaway entries/results, poll votes linked to user IDs, staff activity, and misuse warnings. Enabled moderation logs may retain edited or deleted message content and member changes.
AI and voice
Relevant messages, recent conversation history, replies, and configured server knowledge may be sent to OpenAI for AI responses and ticket processing. Image prompts and requested profile pictures may also be sent.
While Zync is connected to a voice channel, speakers’ audio clips may be sent to OpenAI for transcription before Zync checks whether its wake word was spoken. Audio is processed in memory; the bot does not save local audio recordings. Voice requests and responses may be saved as conversation history.
Connected services
When configured, Zync Control receives server information, usage statistics, recent application metadata, misuse records, and generator requests containing your Discord ID and roles. Script features exchange Discord IDs/names, keys, and account information with Zync Auth or SNC, including access status, execution counts, and hardware-ID information returned by the provider. Zync Auth API keys entered through /login are stored encrypted.
Why we use it
This information supports bot features, support tickets, applications, moderation, activity statistics, access management, usage limits, and abuse prevention. Relevant records may be visible to server staff, dashboard users with access, and the bot operator.
Storage and your controls
AI memory keeps the latest five conversation turns per user, channel, and server, with no automatic time expiry. Daily usage metrics older than 120 days are pruned when new metrics are recorded. Other saved records currently have no automatic expiry.
In a supported AI channel, zync clear memory clears your conversation memory for that channel. /logout removes your saved Auth login and server connections created through it; it does not delete your provider account. Discord records and service-provider copies are separate.
